Paris St Germain director Leonardo has revealed he'd be keen to sign Manchester City star Samir Nasri, Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery and Newcastle's Yohan Cabaye this summer, according to Goal.com.
The PSG chief admitted he liked the sound of bringing the top French players from across Europe back to Ligue 1, and mentioned City's Nasri by name, as well as Ribery and Cabaye - although he stressed that his club hasn't made a move for any of players yet.
The Parisian outfit reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season, only to fall to Barcelona, and currently sit top of the Ligue 1 table.
Leonardo wants the French club to continually compete with Europe's top sides, and has identified several French stars who could help PSG challenge again next season.
Speaking to La Gazzetta dell Sport, Leonardo said: "The landscape in football is changing. That's one of the reasons why guys like [Eden] Hazard and [Olivier] Giroud have left [Ligue 1]. But I like the idea of luring great French players back.
"I am not talking about [Karim] Benzema, but about players such as Nasri, Ribery and Cabaye. I don't know whether it's realistic though, as I have not had contact with any of them."
City midfielder Nasri left Ligue 1 side Marseille for Arsenal in 2008, before eventually switching to the Etihad Stadium, while Cabaye left Lille to join Newcastle in 2011.
Ribery was another Marseille player, and a teammate of Nasri's at one stage, but left for Bayern Munich in 2007.
