Signing Wayne Rooney from Manchester United would be 'impossible' for Paris Saint-Germain, according to the club's manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Ancelotti has described Rooney as an 'idol' for United and does not envisage the England striker being sold.

Manchester City assistant manager David Platt was not surprised that Sergio Aguero escaped sanction for his stamp on David Luiz.

The Football Association took the decision not to charge Aguero, after referee Chris Foy claimed to have dealt with the incident at Wembley.
