Everton's top goalscorer Marouane Fellaini believes that Everton can overtake both Arsenal and Tottenham to finish fourth in the Premier League.

The Belgian international has asked the club's fans to get behind the manager and his team for the final five fixtures, as the race for Champions League football heats up.

"Playing the Champions League would be great," the 25-year-old told reporters. "We have a good team and I don't think we are far from it. But we have to work hard and win our games."

Everton face trips to Liverpool and Chelsea in the coming weeks, as well as Saturday's visit to a resurgent Sunderland side. They currently lie four points adrift of the Gunners and two points behind their other north London rivals, though Spurs have a game in hand.

Fellaini remains assured that his club can qualify for Europe's premier competition, despite being held to a goalless draw at the Emirates Stadium on Monday, due to his evident confidence in David Moyes.

"In ten years he has made the club stronger and has positioned us just outside the top four or five clubs," he said of the manager

Fellaini added that the Scot is doing a good job competing with bigger clubs, with Everton punching above their weight in comparison to the budgets of their rivals.

"We don't have the same budget as Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea or Tottenham either yet we are still doing well."
