Manchester City and England goalkeeper has hit back at his underperforming team-mates after the 3-1 loss at Tottenham.
City have had an extremely average season after last year's successes, and Hart has conceded that his team have not been good enough in key games, unlike their city-counterparts, who have grinded out results when playing poorly.
Following the defeat at Spurs, Hart spoke to Manchester City TV and spoke of his frustrations at the mistakes that have hindered the team's progress all season.
"We took the lead and didn't kick on from there. Second half we just existed and paid the price. I thought we took our foot off the gas and you can't do that," said Hart.
Despite the defeat to Champions League chasers Tottenham, Hart has insisted that City's season is not all over. The team still have work to do to secure a Champions League place with Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs still all in the running to secure the remaining three spots.
"We will bounce back easily, it is what we do. We have proved that many a time.
“We have a big game coming up against West Ham. It is always good to win at home and we have got the F.A Cup final that all of the boys are trying to win their spots for," added Hart.
City's final chance of silverware comes when City face Wigan Athletic at Wembley on 11th May with the Premier League mathematically out of reach should Manchester United beat Aston Villa on Monday.
