Ryan Giggs claimed an unprecedented 13th Premier League title on Monday night as Manchester United confirmed an unparalleled 20th championship crown, to reinforce his position as the most decorated player in British football.
The 39-year-old midfielder made his debut for the Red Devils 1991, and has since made a further 935 appearances in all competitions, having progressed through the club's youth ranks in the same era as the likes of Paul Scholes, Gary Neville and David Beckham.
Giggs still maintains a strong bond with his former youth team buddies, with whom he won the majority of his league titles, and the Welshman remains particularly close with Neville - which was shown with gentle ribbing of the former Manchester United captain turned Sky Sports pundit.
Speaking to Neville from Old Trafford following Manchester United's Premier League trophy confirming victory over Aston Villa, Giggs identified the departure of the former right-back as the reason for the Red Devils' most recent triumph.
