It was announced last week that English side Manchester City had already opened up personal talks with Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, but it appears all is not that simple ahead of his potential transfer this summer.
It was revealed that City are prepared to give the Uruguyuan £256k-a-week to sign for the club, which would make him the highest paid player in the Premier League, but it now appears that another club are interested in the striker.
Mega-rich Paris Saint Germain have also opened up talks with the striker as they battle it out with Manchester City for the clinical frontman.
It has been revealed that PSG are at the same stage with Cavani as City are, so it will now be down to the player to choose his ideal destination.
Having said that, City and PSG might not be not on the striker's list.
It is rumoured that Cavani is eyeing up a potential move to Real Madrid and that would be his preferred move if he was to move away from Napoli this summer.
It has been made public knowledge that Cavani is likely to move on from the Italian side, even more so recently when his mother admitted that he is looking for a move, but it is yet unsure which team will win the race for his signature.
Cavani, who has made 47 appearances for Uruguay, joined Napoli in 2010 from Palermo.
The 26-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in Europe at present.
