The agent of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City target, Borja Valero, has played down speculation of a summer move to the Premier League, after stating that the player is happy at Fiorentina.
Sky Sports reports how the 28-year-old midfielder has turned in a series of impressive performances for the Serie 'A' side this season, since moving to Florence from Villarreal last summer.
His fine form is said to have caught the eye of Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas, who is looking to strengthen his midfield department at White Hart Lane when the transfer window reopens.
Arsene Wenger has also been credited with an interest in Valero - who has some experience of English football, having taken in a short spell at West Bromwich Albion - and could attempt to lure him to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal and Tottenham will face further competition from Manchester City, though, with Roberto Mancini completing the trio of Premier League managers courting the Fiorentina star's signature.
However, all three parties face a serious fight to secure Valero's services after his representative Alejandro Camano revealed the player is perfectly happy in Italy.
"Borja is very happy to stay in Florence and in Fiorentina," he told tuttomercatoweb.com. "I believe that at the time he is among the best players not only in Italy but also in Europe.
"Borja Valero has reached the right maturity to be part of any top club, but his goal is to get in the Champions League with the Fiorentina shirt.
"The future? Currently I cannot know the future. But I repeat that Borja Valero is very happy with Fiorentina and has no other thoughts."
