Arsenal have been linked with many potential striker signings this summer, but could Nicklas Bendtner make an unlikely return to the Emirates, or move on to new pastures?
Since joining Juventus on loan from Arsenal at the start of the season after an impressive display at Euro 2012 and a return of eight league goals at Sunderland in the 2011/12 season. However, since joining he has struggled for game time, and will almost certainly not stay in Turin.
But could he make a return to Arsenal? Some people may say that his play style is too similar to Giroud's, but his tendencies to run at opposition more than the Frenchman are likely to be linked with Wenger opting to play him on the wing at times.
Many Arsenal fans would be glad to see the back of him, but I for one would like to see him given another chance, especially if Wenger misses out on his prime targets such as Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic.
He has also been linked with a move to Hannover 96, where Johan Djourou looks set to join permanently at the end of the season, and was linked strongly with AC Milan last season.
I would say, if he impresses in pre-season then why not? However, his contract expires at the end of next season, so Wenger must decide sooner rather than later.
