Former Chelsea manager Gianluca Vialli believes Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic would the answer to Juventus' problems, were the Sweden captain to secure a transfer back to Turin.

Ibrahimovic scored 26 goals in 92 appearances for Juventus before joining Inter Milan in 2006, while the 31-year-old is currently flourishing under the stewardship of Carlo Ancelotti at the Parc des Princes.

Vialli, a former Juventus star himself, has identified Ibrahimovic as a player capable of making the Italian champions a significant force in European football once again, even if he would rather the Bianconeri launched a summer transfer window move for Edinson Cavani.

"I can imagine Ibra returning to Juventus. If I could choose, I would go for Cavani due to his age, but Ibrahimovic could be the answer to all of Juve's problems," Vialli told Sky Sport Italia.

"With the arrival of Zlatan, we would see a Juventus that would not only be able to challenge in Italy, but in Europe as well.

"A lot of things change when you have Ibra in the team. All his team-mates immediately feel his presence and understand that he can solve certain situations.

"I wouldn't call him a leader off the pitch, but he helps to get the best out of his team-mates on the pitch in his own way. He reassures his companions."

Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola has fuelled speculation that his client could leave Paris in during the imminent transfer window, claiming there are clubs interested in securing the signature of the Swede.

Raiola has, however, suggested that a move back to Italy would be unlikely for Ibrahimovic, and that he could see the forward move to the Premier League with either Chelsea or Manchester City.

Chelsea and Manchester City, meanwhile, continue to battle for the signature of Atletico Madrid's Radamel Falcao, with reports on Wednesday claiming Stamford Bridge is the most likely destination for the Colombian.
