Chelsea & Tottenham target would consider 'huge' European club

Premier League target Medhi Benatia has invited a summer offer from a 'huge' European club, alerting Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United to his potential availability as the transfer window draws closer, according to Sky Sports.

The French-born Moroccan international has been linked with a whole host of Europe's top clubs, with Juventus and Fiorentina included among the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United.

Premier League interest in the centre-back is high, with Tottenham and Arsenal also thought to be tracking Benatia.

The Udinese defender moved to Serie 'A' from Clermont in 2010, and the 26-year-old has impressed.

Inter Milan and AC Milan have both scouted the defender as well, who's contracted until the summer of 2017.

But he's revealed he is happy in Italy and that it would take a massive offer from a top European club to prise him away from Udinese.

Benatia said: "I am loving my time in Italy. The league is a very good one and to be honest an important Italian team will always be my first choice unless a huge English, Spanish or German club comes in for me.

"The Italian league is a top championship with top clubs who are very attractive as well, so if I have an offer from a big club here I will listen to that club."

All four Premier League suitors could look to strengthen at the back in the summer transfer window, with Arsenal and Manchester United in particular linked with several defenders.
