Manchester United claimed their 13th Premier League title with victory over Aston Villa on Monday night and they have had many key performers guiding them through their success all season.
Here we look at the top five players that have starred in the Red Devils Premier League success:
5. Wayne Rooney (England)
Rooney didn't have one of his greatest seasons at United but his goals were surely effective in United's quest for the title. He produced match-winning goals against Manchester City, Reading, Fulham and Southampton to help United get all three points from those fixtures. His tally of 12 goals and 10 assists in the league is certainly respectable.
4. David De Gea (Spain)
The young Spaniard proved his critics wrong by producing world class performances throughout the season. The young Spaniard has one of the best saves to shot ratio for a regular starter in the league.
With 11 clean-sheets in the Premier League alone, De Gea is on course to emulate legendary United keepers Edwin van deer Sar and Peter Schmeichel for years to come.
3. Rafael Da Silva (Brazil)
After being handed the No. 2 shirt left vacant by legendary Gary Neville, Rafael has really stepped up his game this season and has become a mainstay in the Red Devil's defence.
Rafael has a knack for scoring spectacular goals as seen against Liverpool and QPR but he can also provide glamourous assists such as the sumptuous through ball he gave to Van Persie in the Everton game. Defensively he has been hard to get by and his game has matured immensely this season.
2. Michael Carrick (England)
Recently nominated for PFA Player of the Year, it seems as his inclusion was deserved. He has orchestrated United's play this season and has kept the midfield disciplined throughout the season.
Carrick has completed the most forward passes in Europe this season ahead the likes of Iniesta and Pirlo but he has also provided some sensational assists and his assist to Hernandez in the FA Cup is definitely one of the best assists this season.
He also capped two assists against Newcastle helping United to a crucial 4-3 win to open up a seven point lead at the top.
1. Robin Van Persie (Holland)
The flying Dutchman hasn't failed to disappoint in his first season at United and the £24 million price-tag he was bought for seems like a bargain. He carried United single-handedly in the first half of the season and then scored crucial goals in the second half like the stoppage time winner against City.
His tally of 24 goals and eight assists in the league is unmatched by any other player and he has certainly made the biggest impact in United winning their 20th title.
