Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is one of the club's highest-rated youngsters amongst the back-room staff at the club, but with the fans, he is anything but that.
The Welshman who signed for Arsenal from Cardiff City a few years ago has never quite won over Gunners fans and despite being impressive in the second half of this season, he still cannot get the credit he deserves from a majority of the Arsenal faithful.
I constantly see people complaining about Aaron Ramsey and it's not even when Arsenal are playing, it's just anytime they see fit, they will speak negatively about him.
In fact once, the Arsenal team-sheet was tweeted out and many fans straight away responded by saying Arsenal will lose because he is starting. Absolutely madness.
I guess the lucky thing for Ramsey is that he isn't alone with this. Winger Gervinho also gets the same response from the majority of Arsenal fans, but I am mainly focusing on Ramsey right now.
The Welsh international may not be the most talented footballer to ever embrace Arsenal, but he is 100% one of the most passionate about the club and is prepared to do anything for the team he plays for.
This season has been the perfect example. The centre-midfielder has played down the wing, in the holding role, in the attacking midfield role and even at left-back for a match. How many players would do that and not complain?
I am not saying all Arsenal fans believe this about Aaron Ramsey, but I know a massive handful would jump on the Welshman's back as soon as he mis-times a pass or makes an error, and the shameful thing is, if someone like Jack Wilshere did the same mistake, no-one would batter an eyelid. That is the difference between a loved player and a disliked player.
The negatives are over-blown when it's from a disliked player.
Ramsey has been nothing but superb in the last few weeks for Arsenal and has won praise from both Arsene Wenger and Laurent Koscielny, but still fans complain about seeing him in the starting line-up.
It seems this guy will never be the most loved player at the Emirates Stadium, but it also seems that half of the criticism he gets, is really undeserved.
Lets not forget the guy broke his leg as well in his debut season. For a centre midfielder, who's job it is to get stuck into tackles, to break their leg and come back, takes a lot of mental strength.
Like I've said, Ramsey might not be the most technically gifted, but he's definitely one of the most passionate and fans should really get off the guys back, especially when it's undeserved.
