Hamburg goalkeeper Rene Adler says it is an honour to be linked with a move to Arsenal.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on signing a new goalkeeper and has sent scouts to watch the Germany international.

Manchester United’s move for Robert Lewandowski could be scuppered by Premier league rivals Chelsea – if Jose Mourinho joins them in the summer.

Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly keen to bring the Borussia Dortmund striker to Old Trafford, but interest from Stamford Bridge could pose problems for the Premier League champions.

Roberto Mancini has told Manchester City’s money men to up their game and be more decisive in the transfer market.

The Italian thinks the Citizens moved too slowly last summer and believes this is partly behind the Etihad Stadium outfit’s failure to defend their Premier League trophy.

Tottenham are not all about Gareth Bale and have numerous other players that can do major damage, that is according to Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez.

Spurs travel to the DW Stadium on Saturday where a win is crucial in the race for a Champions League spot, though the Latics also need to win as they bid to avoid relegation once again.

Barcelona have insisted they are not in any rush to sign another goalkeeper as Victor Valdes won’t be leaving this summer.

The current Camp Nou number one has a contract until 2014 and, while he has indicated to the club he wouldn’t be signing a new one, he will not be leaving until it expires.
