Chelsea began the season on a high, top of the table and with seven competitions to try their luck in.
Unfortunately, after a change of manager and many games later, the Blues now find themselves with one competition left and are sit third in the table.
Roman Abramovich, as always, will be itching to throw his cheque book at promising talent to ensure his team achieve their aims.
Here are what I think the top five on Chelsea's list.
5- Paulinho, Corinthians
Paulinho was instrumental in the demise of Chelsea in the Club World Cup in Japan last year and this alerted Blues to his talents.
Especially this season, Chelsea have had to rely on reserve midfielders in order to keep fitness levels up to standards, by having Paulinho to step in whenever there is an injury would be key to a good signing for Chelsea.
4- Marouane Fellaini, Everton
Another afro in the team could not only bolster the squad but keep David Luiz company. With Lampard seemingly on his way out, Chelsea need another midfielder that can sit in front of the back-four and defend but also attack on the break when the ball is won. The big man certainly has the talent to do such a thing and his exemplary heading will also be a big bonus.
Furthermore, Fellaini can of course play in a more advanced roll if needed. However, Everton will be keen to keep the midfielder if they wish to push for European football again next season.
3-Andre Schurrle, Bayern Leverkusen
This target seems the most likely to happen with the wingers agent stating that he wants a deal to be done with the next 'few days'. Schurrle has a similar playing style to the likes of Hazard. He has pace, good dribbling and direct with the ball.
The deal may be complicated though with the inclusion of Kevin De Bruyne, a promising Chelsea loanee at Leveruksen that they want to keep.If a deal was to go through for Chelsea then they would have a valuable asset in the team.
2- Edinson Cavani, Napoli
The Napoli striker has hit top form this season, hitting 32 goals in 39 apps this season thus far.
The striker could replace a faltering Fernando Torres who seems to be quite sporadic in his form. Abramovich would need to splash out though to ensure this man gets into his team.
1- Radamel Falcao, Atletico Madrid
31 goals in 35 appearences this season show that Falcao has the quality to link-up at stamford Bridge. Chelsea must be sure that they can secure Champions League football for the remainder of this season or Falcao will not be interested.
Roman may also have to break his transfer record of £50 million in order to get the Columbian hit man but in doing so, guarantees he gets quality up front.
