Arsenal are leading Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to land QPR striker Loic Remy from relegated QPR.
Harry Redknapp’s side drew 0-0 with Reading on Sunday, which meant both sides were relegated and the Daily Star are reporting that the Gunners are now circling.
The report claims Arsene Wenger was interested in Remy before he made the switch to Loftus Road and sees him as a possible addition to his strike force at Arsenal.
However, it also claims Liverpool have retained an interest in the France international, especially as speculation surrounding the future of Luis Suarez at Anfield continues.
Andre Villas-Boas has also been credited with a desire to take Remy to White Hart Lane, though this report suggests they have fallen behind their close rivals.
The report also claims Remy is keen to remain in the Premier League following QPR’s relegation and would prefer a move to Arsenal.
It also says Wenger has prioritised some extra firepower for the summer as he looks to add further attacking quality to his squad in a bid to get the Gunners back within title contention.
