Javier Hernandez has been a revelation since his move from Chivas Guadalajara to Old Trafford.

However, the young Mexican has been given very few opportunities this season due to the arrival of Robin van Persie from Arsenal.

Chicharito as he is famously called, has managed 16 goals in all competitions this season for Manchester United despite his limited opportunities. Sir Alex Ferguson has played Van Persie with Wayne Rooney on most occasions and Hernandez mostly feature with very late cameos.

He has rescued the Red Devils on many occasions most notably getting a second half hat-trick against Aston Villa when United were 2-0 down and getting a late winner against Newcastle at Old Trafford.

Despite being a worry to every defence he has faced and his constant improvements as a player, Hernandez is still being over-looked for a place in Man United's first 11.

It must have been heartbreaking for him to be sitting on the bench when Van Persie was going through a goal-drought but was still given the nod ahead of him. It must seem very obvious to Hernandez that no matter what Van Persie will always be the first choice. Like Paul Pogba, it wouldn't be surprising if Chicharito is considering his future at Old Trafford and he could possibly be looking elsewhere.

Hernandez is a very professional player who gives his all for the team. He is known for his lightning pace, excellent and intelligent movement and of course his deadly finishing.

He is not a very tall player but he is devastating in the air and can score with either foot which makes him the complete striker in and around the penalty area. he has a natural ability to be in the right place at the right time and as long as he is on the pitch there is a very high possibility that he will get a goal.

He seems to live on the shoulders of the last defender and is always looking to run in behind the defence.

Despite his lack of games the young Mexican insists that he is happy at Old Trafford and Sir Alex has also stressed that Hernandez will not be allowed to leave the club.

With the club consistently link with a move for Robert Lewandowski and most recently Radamel Falcao, it is likely that Hernandez will be the striker that leaves the Theatre of Dreams. He may be used as a part of the deal to bring Falcao to Old Trafford if he is indeed wanted by the club.

Atletico Madrid has targeted the Mexican as the replacement of Falcao and this could be a great move for Chicharito. He would be able to get regular football and this way he will be able to improve his game week-in-week-out.

Hernandez has a very good scoring record and is a two time Premier League Champion and has already featured in a Champions League Final. This move would be a great move for everyone especially Hernandez as he would get the chance to develop as a player and will be able to be working on his game constantly so he can make the necessary improvements in his game.

There is no doubt that he has goals in him and would be a great asset to any team in the world.

His professionalism and work rate are suited for most top clubs in Europe and if he becomes available he will certainly have many offers to choose from. He must act now to secure his future and to become a better player especially with the World Cup coming up at the end of the 2013/14 season.

Hernandez has the talent and potential to become a great striker but he must be playing regularly in order to take his game to the next level.
