Sir Alex Ferguson believes the squad at his disposal at Manchester United is at the right age to dominate for years and he predicted the next starlet to take Old Trafford by storm.
Manchester United were confirmed as Premier League champions for the 13th time last Monday – their 20th title in all – and Ferguson thinks it is just the beginning.
Much of the squad is made up of younger talent and the Scot feels they can grow together to establish a dynasty over the next few years.
While there are a number of young stars in the Manchester United first team squad, Ferguson was especially excited about one young star.
Adnan Januzaj is an 18-year-old Belgian midfielder and the Red Devils boss tipped him to go onto big things.
“You have to look at the structure of the club at present, in terms of the number of first-team players we have at 23 or under,” he told Inside United.
“David De Gea, Rafael, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Alex Buttner, Nick Powell, Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck.
“Shinji Kagawa and Chicharito are 24. Jonny Evans is 25 and Wayne Rooney is hitting his peak at 27.
“Older players like Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand may be coming towards the end of their careers
“But these younger players are the foundation for the next five or six years, irrespective of the players breaking through, like Adnan Januzaj, the Belgian boy, who's really looking very good.”
Januzaj could well get a chance to showcase his promise at some point this season in the Premier League now that United has wrapped up the title.
