8. Turkish Super Lig

The arrival of Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder in Turkey certainly bought the Super Lig to the attention of football fans around the world, while Galatasaray's performance in the Champions League against Real Madrid demonstrated the quality of its biggest teams.

Turkey's top division ranks 9th in the success and popularity and value categories, 8th in terms of player quality and 7th in popularity and value.

The one exception is that the Super Lig ranks 3rd in terms of competitiveness (defined by average margin of victory, average goals-per-game and occurrence of draws) - ahead of La Liga and the Bundesliga.
