Largely thanks to a lop-sided TV deal, 60% of revenue generated by La Liga comes through the two powers of Spanish football.
La Liga ranks favourably in terms of overall player quality - all three Ballon d'Or nominees this year came from the Spanish League - but attendances are on the slide because of poor value-for-money tickets.
