Roman Abramovich has promised four big-name signings in order to lure Jose Mourinho back to Chelsea this summer, according to Sky Italia.

The station reports that Radamel Falcao, Angel di Maria, Joao Moutinho and Pepe will all be pursued if Mourinho agrees to sign on the dotted line.

Mourinho seemingly signalled his intent to quit his post at Real Madrid last night after the Spanish side exited the Champions League at the hands of Borussia Dortmund despite a 2-0 2nd leg win at the Benrabeu.

While Chelsea are hot-favourites to secure the services of the 'Special One'  for next season, owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly moved to ensure he gets his man by promising the signing of no less than four big-name players.

Sky Italia report that Radamel Falcao is at the top of the list and should arrive at Stamford Bridge in the summer, while two of his Real Madrid players in Pepe and Angel di Maria along with Moutinho could follow suit.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, all four players are clients of super-agent Jorge Mendes, who is also Mourinho's representative.

Mourinho wasn't exactly subtle when discussing his future plans following Madrid's defeat last night, suggesting he wants to leave Madrid to go to a place 'where people love me'.

He added: "I know I am loved in England. I am loved by some clubs, especially one."

The Portuguese coach has endured a tumultuous three years in Spain, winning one La Liga title and two Copa del Rey trophies.

His time appears to be coming to an end following a season littered with rumours of dressing-room bust-ups and controversy. Now his hope of guiding Madrid to 'La Decima' - a 10th European Crown - is over and their hopes of retaining their league crown are well gone, his exit is all but assured.
