Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he’d be willing to make a return to Manchester United in the future.

The Portuguese superstar became a legend at Old Trafford during his six seasons with the club, and was sold to Real Madrid for a world record £80million back in the summer of 2009.

However, The Daily Star Sunday reveals that Ronaldo has told a senior member of the Red Devils playing staff that he would ‘seriously consider’ a proposition to return to the Premier League champions.

The paper goes on to report that Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is trying to bring the player back to the club for £65million, with sponsors helping to fund the 28-year-old’s mega wages.

Paris Saint-Germain are also credited with an interest by the paper, although both clubs may have a better chance of signing the player next summer when his contract reaches its final 12 months.

Ronaldo won three Premier League titles and a Champions League winners medal during his time with Manchester United, but has claimed just one domestic title during his four-years with Real Madrid to-date.
