Swansea City have put a £10million price-tag on defender Ashley Williams after on going speculation linking the Welshman with moves to the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal according to Sky Sports.
The defender has had an impressive season with the Swans and helped guide them to a Capital One Cup victory in the final at Wembley.
Swansea also look set to achieve a mid-table finish in the Premier League and Williams has been key in securing that position.
The 28-year-old has been tracked in recent months by both Premier League clubs Liverpool and Arsenal as they look to strengthen their defence ahead of next season.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers reportedly wants to reunite with Williams after coaching him during his time at Swansea. The defender is seen as an ideal replacement for the retiring Jamie Carragher.
However they will face a battle with Arsenal as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his options at the back. Both Sebastian Squillaci and Johan Djourou are rumoured to be heading for the exit door this summer and Williams is seen as a potential replacement.
Williams originally signed from Stockport for £400,000 in 2008 after a successful loan spell.
The Welshman has climbed the leagues with the club and has since become a mainstay in the side.
Williams signed a new deal at Swansea back in October and that will see him remain at the club until 2015 unless a team is prepared to bid £10million for the Welshman.
