Barcelona midfielder Alex Song insists he'll still be at the Camp Nou next season, ruling out any possibility of a return to Arsenal this summer, reports the London Evening Standard.

The 25-year-old Cameroon international arrived in Spain in a £15million deal last August, but has struggled to establish himself in Tito Vilanova's first-team.

Song's frustration at his lack of regular football led to speculation suggesting that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger could try to re-sign the African enforcer, less than 12 months after he left the Emirates Stadium.

However, the former Arsenal star has quashed suggestions he's set to move back to the Premier League at the end of the season, and in light of rumours surrounding his future, reiterated his commitment to Barcelona.

"It is hard because no [speculation] comes from me," said Song. "I know I am very happy here, my family is happy here, for sure I will be here next season."

Song penned a five-year contract when he signed for Barca last summer, and is tied to the Catalan club until 2017.

He's made 27 appearances in all competitions, scoring just one goal in a 3-1 Primera Liga victory over Real Zaragoza back in November.
