Goalkeeper: Edwin van der Sar
Edwin van der Sar is a goalkeeping legend at the club. The Dutchman was feared by most strikers in the Premier League and pulled off amazing saves regularly. United bought him from Fulham for a reported fee of £2m.
Defenders: Gary Neville, Nemenja Vidic, Denis Irwin, Rio Ferdinand
These defenders have many skills and are all known as legends at the club. They are all very successful and have performed amazingly at Old Trafford and away grounds.
Gary Neville is now a football commentator and analyser who actually knows what he is talking about. An aggressive right-back but has always been a top player.
The Serbian has had recent injury problems but is now back to fitness and has had many amazing moments in his seven-year career at United.
Irwin is now a retired player and has won over all the Red Devils fans in his career. One of the main left-backs in the past for United and has always had a goalscoring attitude.
The England centre-back has made 296 league appearances for the Red Devils after moving from Leeds United
Midfielders: Sir Bobby Charlton, Paul Scholes, Paddy Crerand, Roy Keane
Sir Bobby Charlton
Sir Bobby Charlton is one of the best English footballers to ever live. He was an amazing talent for Manchester United and became known all over the world.
Paul Scholes will always be a hero at Manchester United. He will always be a part of the United staff when he retires. Facing retirement, Scholes has been an amazing midfielder and many of the world's best players have complimented him.
Paddy Crerand currently has a TV show of his own on MUTV. He isn't known as a football commentator but more as a player. He has scored some amazing goals alongside other legendary players.
Roy Keane is a Red Devil through and through and was amazing at Old Trafford.
Wingers: Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, George Best, Ryan Giggs
Ronaldo, who now plays for Real Madrid and is rumoured to be heading back to the Theatre of Dreams, learned his trade at Manchester United. He is still shown respect by the fans and has scored so many goals.
With free-kicks just as good as Ronaldo's many people argue that in each players United era, Beckham was the better player. He joined when he was young and became a legend at Old Trafford. He is known all around the world and is currently playing for Paris Saint Germain.
Best, from Northern Ireland, was phenomenal for United. He was one of the first celebrity footballers in his career from 1963-1974
Giggs is still playing for Manchester United at the age of 39. He arrived at Old Trafford from City's youth team in 1987.
Strikers: Wayne Rooney, Andy Cole, Eric Cantona, Denis Law
Wayne Rooney joined Manchester United from Everton at the age of 19. He has improved massively and has scored many amazing goals, including a stunning bicycle kick against Manchester City.
This chant from the Manchester United fans did him justice: "Andy Cole, Andy Cole, Andy Andy Cole! He gets the ball, he scores a goal! Andy, Andy Cole!"
Eric Cantona is one of the most famous names in Manchester United's history, even if he did sometimes lose his temper on the pitch. Most infamously, he was banned for nine months after kicking a Crystal Palace supporter.
Denis Law is a player who played at Manchester United for 11 years before returning to City for a season. He scored many amazing goals at Old Trafford.
