Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo sent the Santiago Bernabeu crowd wild on Wednesday when he scored his 200th goal for los Blancos.

Jose Mourinho’s side thrashed Malaga 6-2 in La Liga to make sure Barcelona could not be crowned champions until Sunday and their trip to Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid were in blistering form as they dealt a hug blow to Malaga’s Champions League qualification hopes, who were reduced to nine men.

Cristiano Ronaldo missed the penalty that has led to the first red card, but he dusted himself off and smashed home an indirect free-kick to give Madrid the lead after the visitors has cancelled out Raul Albiol’s opener.

200 goals in only 197 is an astonishing record and one that is unlikely to be matched any time soon and Ronaldo’s celebration of thumping his chest before pointing to the turf had many interpreting it as a sign he would be staying.
