Chelsea should give John Terry a new contract, further extending his laborious commitment to the Blues.
It seems the captain reaches the front page faster than Charlie Sheen after a bender, receiving copious amounts of different interpretations to who this leader truly is.
Well, he is the captain, he keeps his players level-headed and he wins important games for his club.
However many ambiguous descriptions arise, the one blatant leader trait that always prevails with John Terry is that he is a 'come-back-king.'
After the Champions League final penalty miss against Manchester United, being stripped of his England captaincy, the Anton Ferdinand racial slur and the affair with Wayne Bridge's girlfriend, John Terry has had to centre himself, focus on his objectives and reflect his leadership to his teammates.
Now don't get me wrong, there is no excuse for racism, nor are there any excuses for cruel intentions, but we have all made mistakes we're not proud of.
We just have to forgive and forget.
The fact remains that he has stuck to his job description, in terms of leadership goals and this is why he should remain the Chelsea captain.
I'm not saying I don't like Luiz, the Brazilian is incredible, but I do believe, for at least the present, that the Captain. Leader. Legend is still the Captain. Leader. Legend.
