Video: Thierry Henry buries brilliant bicycle kick

Published 34 Comments

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is 35 years old now but still has what it takes to get football fans out of their seats.

The Gunners’ greatest ever goalscorer has been doing it for some time in the shirt of New York Red Bulls in MLS and pulled something out of the top drawer.

It was a crucial goal as well as a classy one as it meant Marco di Vaio’s injury time strike did not snatch the win away from New York.

Henry had already given his side the lead in first half injury time before sealing the victory in the 89th minute.

It was a special one too; Juninho Pernambucano’s corner was headed on towards the back post, where the former France international managed to twist his body round and despatch a cracking overhead kick into the top corner.

Just a little reminder of what he can do as New York continue their search for their first MLS Cup.

Watch Thierry Henry score a brilliant bicycle kick for New York Red Bulls in their win over Montreal Impact below…
