Emmanuel Adebayor – Tottenham Hotspur

Football News

Just when you thought the entire season would pass without Adebayor doing anything of note, he goes and reminds us of how devastating he can be when on his game.

Spurs’ getting a 2-2 draw at Chelsea on Wednesday was largely down to his brilliance; storming run and top corner finish from 20 yards out got their first and a deft back heel set up Gylfi Sigurdsson for the second.

When he feels like it, Adebayor has the skill, size, strength and pace to dominate defenders in a way that very few others can. It is just a shame that the sight of him in full flow is so rare.
