Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to cast doubt over his relationship with Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho by apparently swearing at his countryman during Wednesday's 6-2 win over Malaga - prompting more rumours he could be on his way out of Real Madrid.
Ronaldo has been linked with a move back to Manchester United in recent weeks amidst the chaos of Jose Mourinho's expected departure from the Bernabeu. The Portuguese superstar has two years left on his current contract and has hinted he isn't willing to put pen to paper on a new deal.
His vigorous celebrations after scoring his 200th goal for Real Madrid during the comprehensive win seemed to show his passion for the club and intention to stay put - however having apparently mouthed "I'm here" - which was interpreted to mean "I do my talking on the pitch", pictures from TV channel Cuatro allegedly show him yelling 'foda-se' ("f***k you!") at the home bench.
Questions were raised about the pair's relationship in the aftermath of Madrid's Champions League semi-final exit at the hands of Borussia Dortmund last month.
Mourinho heavily hinted after that game that he wanted to leave the Spanish giants - however when Ronaldo was told this he responded: 'It doesn’t matter to me. What matters to me is my future and the club.'
Reports of a possible return to Old Trafford have gathered speed in recent weeks, however Sir Alex Ferguson's impending retirement may put paid to that.
The pair enjoy a close relationship, and the 28-year-old may not be so willing to return to Manchester United under new boss David Moyes.
The Guardian also report this morning that a move may happen in the future, but a return to the Red Devils this summer appears unlikely.
