The Warriors lost game one to San Antonio in double over time by a score of 127-129.

But the team has clearly put the disappointing loss behind it as Golden State tied the best of seven series on Tuesday night by beating the Spurs in San Antonio by a score of 100-91.

Klay Thompson was the big star of the game as he put up an impressive 34 points and 14 rebounds to secure the Golden State Victory. The half time score was 62-43 in favour of the Warriors who were playing outstanding defence and moving the ball well to secure baskets for Thompson and their star player Stephen Curry.

Curry had another fantastic performance scoring 22 points. Curry leads the current series in total points scored with 66. In the second half the Spurs seemed to receive their second wind and nearly caught up outscoring the Warriors by ten in the last half of the game, but it was simply too little too late.

The young, fast and mobile Warriors have proven to be a serious problem for San Antonio's ageing stars who, while very experienced, seem to be struggling to keep up physically with the young guns from California.

The Series continues with Game 3 on Friday May 10th at the Oracle Arena in Oakland California. This will be the Warriors' first home game in the series and two home wins would go a long way toward securing their entrance into the Western Conference Finals.

Meanwhile the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Memphis Grizzlies battle it out for the second spot in the Western Conference Finals. That series is also tied at one game a piece and continues on Saturday May 11th at the FedEx Forum in Memphis Tennessee.

The NBA playoffs are in full swing and while Miami are heavy favourites to defend their National Title if the playoffs have proven one thing in the past it is that anything can happen.
