Bayern Munich clinched the Bundesliga title over a month ago but had to put celebrations on hold until the final home game of the season on Saturday, after which the Bavarian giants were able to lift a well earned German title.

Bayern clinically dispatched of Ausburg 3-0 at the Allianz Arena - an incredible 28th league win of the season - during a party atmosphere in Munich, but things really went up a gear after the final whistle.

Whereas champagne tends to be the celebratory tipple of choice for most, Bayern toasted their latest title triumph with copious amounts of beer, which the players swigged and chucked on the pitch.

Almost every player in sight got a good soaking as they took in in turns to empty huge steins over each other, before an over-zealous and outrageously flirtatious Manuel Neuer did they same to a traditionally dressed young lady.

A number of wholesome looking Bavarian girls, each dressed in a dirndl, ensured the Bayern players were not running dry, and one particular woman got a beer over the head for her troubles from the club's goalkeeper.
