Evian striker Saber Khelifa has followed in the footsteps of David Beckham and Xabi Alonso with a stunning goal from inside his own half.
The Tunisian striker put the gloss on a crucial victory for his side in the battle against the Ligue 1 drop, lobbing the keeper with a sweet strike from fully 65-yards out.
Nice were looking to get back in the game in the closing stages with an 87th minute corner, but Evian headed the ball away and Khelifa battled to win possession.
Noticing the opposition keeper was off his line, the 26-year-old former Stade Gabèsien starlet unleashed an unstoppable shot, which flew into the top corner of the opposition’s net.
