Every January and every summer Chelsea are linked with an abundance of footballing talent.

Not a day goes by without the rumour mill being flooded around Stamford Bridge. Players from all over the world are continuously mentioned by journalists to managers at press conferences at Chelsea, hoping to gain an insight into the possibility of the next big money transfer to arrive at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are famous for spending large amounts of cash in transfer windows since the arrival of Roman Abramovich. This has been met with outrage and envy from the majority of Premier League teams, as the majority of Chelsea's success has occurred in the last decade.

Players are signed from all over the world and in some case's, are offloaded a season or two later. Big money transfers like Juan Sebastian Veron, Mateja Kezman, Andrey Shevchenko and Shaun Wright-Phillips proved to be very unsuccessful for the hype they created.

Currently Chelsea are on the right road towards success. In the last couple of seasons, signings like Cesar Azpilicueta, Eden Hazard, Oscar, Juan Mata, Demba Ba and Victor Moses have proved to be good business.

The Champions League, another F.A Cup and the possibility of the addition of a Europa League title to the trophy cabinet are proven fact that Chelsea are now investing their money wisely.

Not that much needs to change at Chelsea this summer though. A top striker like Rademal Falcao or Robert Lewandowski would be a suitable addition to the Chelsea squad. Either of these strikers would add much needed firepower to the Chelsea attacking line.

The "Makelele position" should also be reinforced. At the moment David Luiz is fulfilling the position excellently and maybe that is where he should play for Chelsea for the remainder of his career.

With Michael Essien currently out on loan at Real Madrid and due to return to Chelsea in the summer he could provide reinforcement to the Chelsea engine room.

If a swap deal involving Sami Khedira and Michael Essien comes to surface, the position would also be filled with the big German.

Khedira is the most under rated player in the Real Madrid set up and if he swapped the Spanish capital for the English capital, Chelsea would benefit massively.

The rest of the team does not need changing. Chelsea are riding high in the league just behind the Manchester clubs and challenging for European honours for the last two seasons. If Chelsea do not drastically change this summer, it is not hard to believe that Chelsea could win a variety to trophies next season.
