Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic insists that he is happy to stay at the club despite ongoing speculation that he could be leaving in the summer.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina goalkeeper has been very impressive for Stoke this season, and his performances have caught the eye of teams including Arsenal and Manchester United, but the shot-stopper insists that he wouldn't mind staying at the Britannia Stadium.
Earlier in the season, Begovic first spoke out about his future and he revealed that he expects to leave the club in the summer, but since then, he has said that he wouldn't mind staying at the club, although he does eventually want to test himself at the highest level.
In January, the club signed Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland as they were preparing for life without Begovic, but it now seems that he could be staying longer than expected.
Stoke's manager Tony Pulis has already stated that he has received no offers for the 25-year-old and has also admitted that he will fight against clubs wanting him.
The goalkeeper himself has recently spoken out about his own future and has insisted that he is merely focused on his career at Stoke.
"All the speculation is flattering and nice, but I am focused on my job here," he told the Sentinel. "As long as Stoke want me, I am contracted. I know football is a business and we will see what happens.
"You never know what is around the corner, but as far as I am concerned I am planning to be here.
"I am happy here and I am desperate to help the club push forward. We all want to win trophies and be as successful as we can, that is the main aim.
"I do have ambitions to play at the highest level and test myself if the opportunity arises. I can't think too much ahead. I am just thinking about here. I am contracted and there's nothing more I can say."
