Paris Saint-Germain are ready to try and lure Jose Mourinho away from joining Chelsea with an eye-watering €15 million-per-season contract offer.
Mourinho is ready to depart Real Madrid at the end of the season with Chelsea his expected destination - although an agreement is yet to be reached with the 'Special One'.
According to Punto Pelota, PSG have sensed an opportunity to snatch Mourinho from under Chelsea's noses, and will offer the Portuguese coach the bumper contract to make him Carlo Ancelotti's replacement.
Ancelotti could step down from his post with one year left on his contract after his side clinched the Ligue 1 title over the weekend.
"We are going to talk with the club," said the Italian yesterday. "I can't say if I will leave or stay. I haven't talked to the president yet."
PSG president Nasser al Khelaifi confirmed he blocked an approach from Real Madrid to speak to the double-winning former Chelsea boss recently - however the prospect of the two managers swapping jobs remains plausible.
Despite that Chelsea will remain confident of landing Mourinho once more, with some reports claiming the deal is already done.
