A moment that propelled Beckham onto the global stage, with the Manchester United prodigy beating Wimbledon keeper Neil Sullivan from inside his own half.

Showcasing his brilliant technique, the youngster spotted Sullivan off his line at Selhurst Park and, without a second thought, managed to lob the stopper to the amusement of both Sir Alex Ferguson and Eric Cantona on the Red Devils bench.
