David Beckham has announced his retirement from football, with his final match set to take place for Paris Saint-Germain this weekend.

The 38-year-old has won ten domestic titles during his illustrious career, with Manchester United, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy and PSG all reaping the right-foot rewards over the past two decades.

England’s record outfield appearance maker on 115, the boy from Leytonstone in London has done pretty well for himself, having been named as the highest earner outside America by Sports Illustrated yesterday.

With numerous highs and a few desperate lows, the right-sided midfielder’s career has been anything but boring, from brilliant goals to crazy red cards.
