Team goal of the season: Which is the best?

Two sensational team goals have been scored in the past few weeks and, here at GMF, we are struggling to agree on which is best. That's where we need your help...

Flamengo produced one of those rare moments of brilliance where everything seems to click exactly as planned during Thursday's Copa do Brasil encounter with Campinense, as the Rio de Janeiro scored a goal of near perfection.

There is little an opposition defence can do during instances of telepathy on the football field, and Flamengo displayed just that as Brazil international Elias started and finished a move of breathtaking precision.

After receiving the ball some 40 yards from the Campinense goal, Elias shows quick feet and sharp wit to jink past an opposing player, before engaging in a one-two with a teammate who has his back to goal.

The ball is flicked onwards and, as Elias continues his run, is touched on once again - dropping into the path of the former Sporting midfielder before he gleefully steers home before the ball has the opportunity to hit the turf.

Elias' strike was also the decisive goal in a 2-1 victory for his side. Watch it in the video below…

Despite their defeat to Chelsea in the final of the Europa League on Wednesday night, Benfica were able to showcase their extensive attacking talents, although they were lacking that decisive touch.

The first half in Amsterdam was all about the Portuguese giants, as they surged forward with pace and poise, frequently slicing Chelsea open with pinpoint passing and expert vision.

Benfica's ability to retain possession and pick passes at speed has been one of their key attributes this season, and there is no finer example of the Águias in full-flight than a goal against Sporting last month.

Nico Gaitan, so often involved in the first 45 minutes against Chelsea, was the instigator the fabulous attacking surge, slicing in and out of the Sporting players with vim and vigour.

The Argentina international then plays a rapid one two with Eduardo Salvio, before firing across an expertly placed cross for Lima to finish brilliantly.
