Yilmaz is a powerful centre-forward in the traditional mould, though he is no target man, preferring to play on the shoulder of the last defender to exploit space in behind – he is a deadly finisher when he gets into position.
He moved to Galatasaray in the summer after an astonishing 35-goal season for Trabzonspor and he has already notched 31 times for the Istanbul side this term – including eight in the Champions League.
