Ronaldinho does hilarious goal celebration conga

Published 4 Comments

When it comes to improvisation and flair, there are fewer in world football that do it better than Ronaldinho – there was nothing improvised about his latest crazy goal celebration though.

Ronaldinho has experienced a resurgence in form since joining Atletico Mineiro in his homeland and their season got off to a terrific start on Sunday night.

The Brazil superstar has been inspirational in Atletico’s march to the Minieiro State Championship, which was secured last night.

Galo went into the second leg of the final with Cruzeiro 3-0 up from the first leg, but were given a bit of a shock in the first half when two Dagoberto penalties saw the home side go 2-0 up and raise hopes of a comeback.

It was not to be, however, and Ronaldinho all but secured the title for his side when he buried a 78th minute penalty.

He and his teammates obviously believed the job was done because they embarked on something of an elaborate celebration.

Ronaldinho led a line of five Atletico Mineiro stars in dropping their shorts a bit and doing what can be described as either a gangster-style conga or a line of penguins dancing.

Whatever it was, it was justified because Atletico Mineiro eventually lost the game 2-1 and subsequently the title 4-2 on aggregate.

Watch Ronaldinho do an unusual goal celebration with his Atletico Mineiro teammates below…

It didn’t end there, however, as Ronaldinho then did the classic grenade launch celebration with the visiting fans – thanks to 101GreatGoals for pointing this out to us...
