Wayne Rooney Season Highlights 2012/2013 (1)

Published Add your comment

Wayne Rooney has been one of the biggest names in world football since bursting on to the scene as an extremely talented teenager.

Rooney announced himself to the English Premier League in October 2002 by scoring a stunning last minute winner against Arsenal, five days short of his 17th birthday, and he's not looked back since.

Having notched 35 international goals in 81 caps the Liverpudlian sits 5th on England's list of all time scorers, only five goals behind another man who burst onto the scene at a young age; Michael Owen.

A two-time PFA Young Player of the Year winner, Rooney has collected an impressive haul of winners medals since joining Manchester United from boyhood club Everton in 200

The list includes multiple Premier League tittles and a Champions League winners medal, and at just 27 years of age there's still time for Rooney to add more.

Here we take a look at some of the highlights of this past season, in which Rooney collected his fifth Premier League winners medal.
