Chelsea have spent millions in the past, recruiting worldwide stars and their path has seen many failures and many successes.

However, Roman Abramovich's decisions have paid off recently, with the Blues holding both European Cups – the first time in history!

Chelsea are one of the favourites to lift the Premier League title next season, and it comes with no surprise considering the amount of talent they have.

New signings, Eden Hazard and Oscar are now settled in, and together with Juan Mata, they form one of the best attacking midfield combinations in the world.

While Fernando Torres and Demba Ba have failed to get into top gear, Chelsea don’t have to look deep into the transfer window since Romelu Lukaku has been banging in goals for fun at West Brom.

Lukaku has enough strength to be the force Chelsea need to return to their best, and looks the perfect replacement for Didier Drogba.

In addition to Lukaku, Chelsea have an array of Belgian loan talents all looking to step up. Thibaut Courtois has been in incredible form for Atletico Madrid in the past two seasons, and he is seen as the long-term replacement for Petr Cech.

It comes with good thought, considering how long Manchester United struggled to find a suitable replacement for Peter Schmeichel.

Kevin de Bruyne seems to be heading to the exit door, disappointingly said, because he is a very good player. It only contributes to the strength of Chelsea though, and the frightening prospect of having two Hazards in the line-up will startle any team in the future.

Chelsea have a host of other young talents, including Josh McEachran, Nathaniel Chalobah, Wallace, Lucas and Jeffrey Bruma who are all out on loan and look suitable candidates to have successful careers – not particularly at Chelsea, but still quite adequate for the Blues.

Whether Mourinho joins Chelsea or not, the opinion is there for all to think about the transfer window challenges at stake.

Perhaps a replacement for John Terry would do great, and a new midfield rock like Makelele would see Chelsea return to the biggest force in the Premier League again, because the experience they’ve gained through this roller-coaster season has only made them stronger!
