Arsenal winger Theo Walcott is confident manager Arsene Wenger will make the right moves in this summer's transfer window.
The Gunners secured Champions League football with victory over Newcastle on the final day of the season, and Wenger has since pledged to spend to strengthen the squad in the transfer window.
And, whilst Walcott didn't want to discuss specific transfer targets, he was confident the boss and his backroom staff would make the right moves for the club.
"The club's transfer plans aren't really for me to comment on. The manager is there to make the right decisions and I'm sure he will," Walcott told GiveMeFootball in an exclusive interview at Wentworth.
"I'm just concentrating on getting some rest this summer. The manager and the people behind the scenes have been working on things I'm sure, and I've no doubt they will get the right players in for the club."
Walcott was speaking after his round in the pro-am at the BMW-PGA Championships - the flagship event of the European Tour.
And, the England international was happy to see his side prove the doubters wrong at the end of the Premier League campaign, admitting that a top four finish had become their main target.
Whilst others doubted the team's ability to reach Europe's premier club competition, the player himself insists nobody at the Emirates Stadium lost faith.
"That was our main target in the end (finishing in the top four). I think a lot of people wrote us off but we showed that belief and support for each other, and we always felt that we could do it," he added.
"It was always in our hands - I know it was nail-biting at the end with the last few games - but that's why everyone loves football. The next target is to win something next year."
