Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway believes Wilfried Zaha will be a success at Manchester United next season.
Zaha, 20, joined Manchester United in January 2013 and was loaned back to Palace for the remainder of the season, where he played an integral part in them finishing in a play-off position.
Monday's Championship play-off final against Watford will be Zaha's last match for Palace, but Holloway believes his star player will thrive in this type of match.
Holloway told The Sun: "Wilf's talents will win games in the top flight and he will help Manchester United to win matches with their new manager next season.
"Palace are a very good team when Wilf is in it, but without the other players he wouldn't look half as good.
"We feel like we are losing a member of our family because Wilf is etched so much into this club.
"But I wouldn't have been doing Palace any favours if we'd stopped him from joining a club like Manchester United.
"How would he have been feeling if we'd been selfish and denied him that opportunity? What would he have produced for us after that?"
Holloway added: "But now I think we will see him pay us back against Watford at Wembley because I know how well he can play in a situation like this".
Zaha will provide much-needed competition on the wing at Old Trafford, after a season in which Antonio Valencia has failed to deliver the form of the previous seasons.
Valencia was previously regarded as one of the Premier League's best right-sided winger after putting in a series of superb performances, which earned him the coveted No. 7 shirt at Old Trafford last season following the departure of Michael Owen.
