Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck says he wants a more central role and believes his poor goal return this season was down to him mostly being played out wide.

Chelsea playmaker Juan Mata says Jose Mourinho is a born winner and the whole squad at Stamford Bridge would welcome him as their new manager.

Mourinho has been confirmed as leaving Real Madrid this summer and is heavily tipped to take over at Chelsea for a second time.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed he has made an approach to recruit Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas.
