Mourinho puts together six-man Chelsea transfer wishlist

Jose Mourinho is already planning for life at Chelsea and has put together a six-man transfer wish-list including Radamel Falcao, Hulk and Isco, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Real Madrid boss will leave the Spanish capital at the end of the season, and is widely expected to take charge at Stamford Bridge for a second time.

And the report claims the 'Special One' has six names in mind as he looks to strengthen the current Chelsea squad.

Mourinho will target three defenders, two midfielders and a striker after coming to the conclusion that the Blues squad needs a thorough overhaul.

Reinforcements will not come cheap though, as Mourinho has been linked with some of Europe's top players.

Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao is the club's main target, but Chelsea are reportedly preparing a contingency plan in case they miss out on the Colombian international. A inquiry for Galatasaray forward Burak Yilmaz was made this week, according to The Guardian.

Manchester City and Monaco are also both chasing Falcao, but Mourinho shares the same agent as the Colombian forward, which could give Chelsea the edge in negotiations.

Mourinho may be handed a £100m war-chest this summer, with £50m striker Fernando Torres potentially one of those sacrificed to keep the club within the boundaries of Financial Fair Play.

Hulk has been earmarked as the principal attacking target should the move for Falcao falter - the Zenit St Petersburg striker came close to joining the Stamford Bridge club before moving to Russia.

A deal for Andre Schurrle is also thought to be close, leaving Chelsea to concentrate on defensive additions later on this summer.

Porto defender Eliquim Mangala, a highly-rated 22-year-old, has impressed Mourinho in the Champions League this term, while Malaga's in-demand playmaker Isco and Everton's powerhouse midfielder Marouane Fellaini are also targets.

Mourinho will be free to leave Real Madrid the day after the club's final game of the season on June 1, which means an announcement regarding his appointment at Chelsea is reportedly expected from June 3 onwards.
