Now, the Eqyptian Premier League is rarely GiveMeFootball's first port of call when looking for the best football flicks, tricks and skills.

But, this 40-yard goal was just too good to ignore, after El Gounah midfielder Mohamed Al Adham scored an incredible free-kick in Wednesday night's 1-0 victory over Haras El Hodood.

The 27-year-old fired an absolute rocket of a set-piece from deep inside the opposition half, which must have caught everyone by surprise given how far out he was.

Al Adham lined up the free-kick as if he was going to shoot, but nobody would have expected him to score with such pinpoint accuracy, in the 21st minute of last night's clash, as the ball arrowed into the top corner.

The match winning goal lifts El Gounah to sixth in the Egyptian Premier League table, and give Al Adham a well deserved place in the annals of world football archives following his sensational solo effort.
