Manchester City star outmuscled by NFL giant

Published 6 Comments

Manchester City defender Micah Richards is used to being the most stacked athlete on the field, but even he was overshadowed during City's trip to see the NFL's New York Giants this week.

Justin Tuck, the Giants defensive end and NFL star, quite literally lives up to his team's nickname. Standing 6-feet-5-inches tall and weighing in at 122 kg, he's one of the most physically dominant players in the league.

The lightning fast defender has the job of getting to the quarterback to make the tackle, and defensive ends usually possess a freakish combination of size, strength and speed.

So it was a bit of a shock for Richards, who's usually one of the most powerful players on the pitch, to get matched-up with the NFL behemoth.

City are currently on a post-season tour in the United States, and visited the Giants training facility where the American football superstars entertained their soccer equivalents.
