As some of you may or may not have noticed, GiveMeFootball.com is no more - as of yesterday we are now proud to be operating under the banner of GiveMeSport.com.

Don't worry, you'll still be able to get your daily dose of the latest football news, views, interviews and videos - only now you'll be able to keep up to date with the latest events across the world of sport.

From cricket to speedway via rugby and basketball, we aim to bring you the widest coverage available on the internet from all four corners of the world of sport .

Over the coming weeks and months we'll be bringing you coverage from some of the world's biggest sporting events, from Wimbledon to the World Championships in Moscow.

There's plenty to look forward to beyond this summer as well - we'll be bringing you exclusive insight and interviews with some of the world's biggest sportsmen and women.

One great aspect of GiveMeSport that we're really proud of is our new Writers' Academy, which gives sports fans from across the world the chance to have there say on everything sport related.

So far over 1,000 of you have signed up and had articles published - now is your chance to join in and have your say.

Over the next few weeks we will be adding to the site's functionality to improve your browsing experience further - in the meantime we'd love to know what you think of the site and any suggestions you have as to how it can be improved. You can get in touch with us via Twitter or by visiting our Facebook page.

Mark Bollons, Editor, said: "This is an exciting change for both the team of journalists at GiveMeSport and the website's loyal fanbase. We will endeavour to bring the best possible coverage across a wide variety of sports, as well as differing opinions from our ever-expanding Academy."
