Robert Lewandowski will join Bayern Munich this summer, according to his agent Cezary Kucharski.
Kucharski was speaking exclusively to Polish TV channel TVN24, and spoke openly about the prospect of Lewandowski joining Bayern Munich.
When asked whether the Pole will be leaving Borussia Dortmund this summer, Kucharski said: "Yes. Robert will join Bayern Munich this summer.
"There is no point in pretending that he will not move to Bayern. Robert wants to leave and that is what will happen," continued Kucharski.
The news has come as a bit of a surprise, after Lewandowski failed to comment on his future after the Champions League final defeat to Bayern Munich. But it seems Kucharski knows the striker will leave the Signal Iduna Park in the coming weeks.
"It is a matter of time. It could be a done deal within a week or within two to three weeks. We are waiting for a signal from the club. We are working on this deal."
Lewandowski is capable of playing in any team, with the powerful Polish striker having been in terrific form for Dortmund since his transfer from Lech Poznan in 2010.
In 98 appearances, Lewandowski has scored 54 goals, prompting a call-up to the international fold where he continued his goalscoring exploits, notching 17 goals in 53 appearances.
